LE BRIDGE

Le Bridge is a series of events co-organized by the French South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FSACCI) to bring closer and promote strong collaboration between corporates and start-ups.

Le Bridge takes place every second month and can take multiple formats: pitch challenges, mentoring sessions, speed networking, co-creation workshops, etc.

Each edition gathers around 100 participants from corporates and start-ups.

Le Bridge Empowering Entrepreneurs for Global Impact

This new edition of le Bridge was a great opportunity to network, share insights, and learn more about the experiences of our speakers. A huge thank you to everyone who attended and to our partner Ozow who contributed to make this new edition of le Bridge a success!

The keynote by Swethal Kumar, Founder & CEO of Startupscale360 FZE, provided relevant insights into the structure of start-up ecosystems, their key players and how start-ups can leverage the ecosystem resources.

The keynote was followed by an interactive panel discussion with industry experts moderated by Mustapha Zaouini, CEO of Fliptin:

Arnaud Blanchet, President of La French Tech South Africa

The topics discussed highlighted the importance of understanding the dynamics of exporting a start-up's business as a function of the ecosystem that accompanies it. The panellists talked about the importance of networking for entrepreneurs to find the right partners and to become fully integrated into the ecosystem.

This is where the work of la French Tech South Africa comes into play, and where events like the Bridge are enabling and intimate platforms that connect to the ecosystem and to the relevant stakeholders. 🤝

Le Bridge AI

January 2024 saw the second edition of our Bridge series. The event focused on collaborations between start-ups and corporates in the field of artificial intelligence.
We were delighted to welcome four speakers:

These presentations were followed by a dynamic session of networking between the participants.
